# Get a quote's status

> Follow a quote through payment to its contract.

Poll this after [paying a quote](/api-reference/quotes/pay) to know when the payment settles. Djigui does not notify your systems yet.

| `status` | Meaning |
| - | - |
| `awaiting_payment` | Never paid, or every attempt failed. You can pay it. |
| `payment_pending` | Waiting for the payer to confirm in Wave. |
| `pending`, `started`, `expired` | Paid: the contract's status. `contractId` is set. |
